For the Non-diver

Tenerife is well known in the UK and Europe as a top destination for year-round hlidays in the sun, but there's more to the island than bars and beaches...

Undersea Adventures can arrange discounted tickets and coach trips for many of the island's premier attractions, just tell us what you want to see, and we'll arrange it for you!

Loro Parque
Tenerife's longest established and largest zoo, Loro Parque is home to all kinds of animals, from tigers to giant tortoises. The pengiun house is unique, where visitors can see the birds gliding effortlessly beneath the water's surface, and sliding along snowy rocks above.

Mount Teide and Las Canadas del Teide
Tenerife is home to Mt. Teide, the highest mountain in Spain. The eerie 'lunar' landscape which surrounds the volcano, used as a location in a number of holywood films, is an astounding environment from which all seven of the Canary islands can be seen!

Whales & Dolphins
The deep waters off the South coast of Tenerife are frequented by several species of whales and dolphins. Organised excursions on a variety of boats and catemarans are available from most of the coast's harbours.

Puerto de la Cruz
Tenerife's oldest tourist resort, Puerto de la Cruz has a more laid-back pace. The town is famous for the ornate carved balconies that adorn many of its old buidings. There's fine dining to be had at restaurants in the old town's cool, shaded courtyards. Although the coastline is rocky and the seas a little fresher on this side of the island, sun seekers can head to the town's stunningly designed Lido to swim, sip a cool drink and relax in the heat.

Santa Cruz
The capital city of Tenerife, Santa Cruz is situated at the Northeast of the island, away from the hustle & bustle of the major resorts. A more continental atmosphere can be found here, with tree lined avenues sporting designer shops, cafes and restaurants. Dotted with palm trees, the golden sands of Playa de la Luna, the island's largest beach, can be found a few miles from the city centre.

El Hierro
